Students

We love students at the MAC!

We realize that being a teenager is difficult, and we want to be a safe place for students to meet together in an environment that points them to Jesus.

We want our MAC Students to know they are loved, accepted, and have a place with us.  Our goal is to lead students to Christ and disciple them in their walk with the Lord in order for them to live on mission for Jesus.

Weekly Gatherings

Life Groups – Sundays at 9:00am

These are age and gender specific groups that meet together each week to get in the Word and challenge one another to live a life reflective of Jesus.

Worship in the Shed – Wednesdays at 6:00 - 7:30pm

This is a time that our student ministry comes together as a whole group (7th - 12th grade) to worship.  We start our time together with a fun, interactive game followed by a time of worship through music led by our student praise band.  We have bible study that challenges our students to live for Jesus and close the evening with a time of small groups.  These small groups are age and gender specific.  Our small group time is started in the same way with each class each week.  We ask students three questions each time they come to The Shed:
How did you feed your soul this week?
Meaning how have you grown spiritually this week, what have you read, how much time have you spent with the Lord this week personally.
How did you feed your flesh this week?
Meaning what are you struggling with right now, how can we as a small group/ministry come alongside you and help you overcome a sin struggle in your life.
How did you feed others this week?
Meaning are you pointing others to Jesus or away from him in the way you are living your life.

SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS ABOVE,
NOT ON EARTHLY THINGS

COLOSSIANS 3:2

Our theme for the year is Look Up! We will focus on the importance of looking up in all areas of our life. Before we speak – look up. Before we act – look up. The goal is that our minds, heart, actions, attitude and lives will be consistent with the Lord and His word. Instead of looking around at our circumstances in life, we are going to focus on looking up to our Father who is the author and maker of our life and our circumstances.
